EyeSee360 Introduces PhotoWarp 2.5
Panoramic imaging tool adds support for third-party one-shot optics, FlashVR panorama viewer
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA — August 27, 2004 — EyeSee360 today announced an upgrade to its highly regarded PhotoWarp® software, a simple, fast and powerful tool for processing panoramic images. PhotoWarp, available for Mac OS X or Windows, is the software component of 360 One VR®, the Macworld Expo 'Best of Show' one-shot panoramic photography system from Kaidan. Beginning with PhotoWarp 2.5, users of other panoramic one-shot systems can have access to this powerful tool for only $249.
Ever since the introduction of PhotoWarp 2.0 with its batch processing capability and support for multiple viewer formats, users of other one-shots have asked us to offer a compatible version of PhotoWarp. Today, we are pleased to offer this capability in PhotoWarp 2.5.
said Michael Rondinelli, Chief Technology Officer of EyeSee360, Inc.
We recognized from the beginning that a one-shot panoramic optic is only as good as the software that goes with it. By supporting the most popular third-party one-shots in PhotoWarp 2.5, these users can have the same great software experience that 360 One VR customers enjoy.
PhotoWarp 2.5 supports one-shots including 360 One VR, 0-360°, BeHere TotalView, Remote Reality OneShot360° and the Egg Solution Egg 360°.
PhotoWarp delivers panoramas using Apple Computer's QuickTime VR software, iSeeMedia's Zoom Viewer or Helmut Dersch's PTViewer applets for Java-enabled browsers. PhotoWarp 2.5 adds support for the new FlashVR panoramic viewer (www.flashvr.de). FlashVR is a Macromedia Flash panorama viewer that offers a rich panoramic viewing experience with a perspective-corrected display. PhotoWarp 2.5 includes a license for a special EyeSee360 edition of FlashVR.
PhotoWarp 2.5 adds 25 new features to the already capable PhotoWarp 2.0 software. Some of the new features include a live preview window for easier setup of source images, auto-rotating panoramas, 16 bit per channel image processing for improved color depth with Digital SLRs, and AppleScript support for Mac OS X.
Pricing and Availability
PhotoWarp 2.5 for Mac OS X and Windows is available now for $249 (US) from the EyeSee360 Store (www.eyesee360.com). Current users of PhotoWarp can upgrade to 2.5 for $79.
