GoPano Usage

  •  IS  No Stabilization
    Disable the image stabilization (IS) feature on the camera. Image stabilization does not work properly with the optic.
  • L Max Resolution
    Set camera to its maximum resolution (12.0 megapixels).
  • Av Aperture Priority
    Switch to aperture priority or manual mode so you can control the aperture value.
  • AF Auto Focus
    Focus on the mirror at about 23 cm. Adjust the auto focus area as necessary to focus around the horizon.
  • 46mm Focal Length
    Zoom in to the mirror. The edge of the mirror should touch the edge of the image frame.
  • F11.7 F-Stop
    Set your F-Stop in the green range for best results:
    • Minimum:F3.5
    • Poor:F3.5 - 9.7
    • Better:F9.7 - 11.7
    • Best:F11.7 - 22.0
    • Maximum:F22.0

  • 100 ISO
    Use the lowest ISO setting that allows you to get the shot. Lower ISO images have less noise, but require a longer exposure.
